There is many ways to customize right affirmations that suit your presonality.

Below you’ll find a few affirmations that you can use. Feel free to customize them in a manor you feel comfortable with it.

  • Even though I (insert your problem), I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
  • Even though I ..., I accept who I am and how I feel.

How to Customize Affirmations

EFT is effective for almost anything such as allergy syptoms, pain, fear, anger, bad memories, addictions, depression and many more symptoms that are affiliated with negavite thoughts and limited believes.

The affirmitions below are just a few examples of how to compose them for different issues:

  • Even though I am sensitive to wheat, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
  • Even though I am allergic to my cat, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
  • Even though I snore at night, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
  • Even though I have this fear of public speaking, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
  • Even though I have this headache, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
  • Even though I have this anger towards my father, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
  • Even though I have this war memory, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
  • Even though I have this stiffness in my neck, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
  • Even though I have these nightmares, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
  • Even though I have this craving for alcohol, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.

The Reminder Phrase

When you are tuned into certain thoughts or circumstances, negative emotions can arise. This, in turn, can cause disruption in your body's energy systems. Simply thinking about a problem tends to focus you more on the problem and feeds the energetic disruption. EFT can then be used to balance these energies.

You may, however, find it difficult to focus on the problem constantly while you are doing the tapping, humming, counting, etc. This is where the Reminder Phrase comes into play. It is repeated continually while you are performing the basic technique.

The Reminder Phrase is a simple short phrase, or a word or two, that outlines the basic problem. You repeat it out loud each time you tap on one of the points in the tapping sequence. By doing so, you continually remind your system about the issue you are currently working on.

Reminder phrases for a few affirmations above are like this:

  • This fear of public speaking, this fear of public speaking,…
  • This headache, this headache, this headache,…
  • This anger towards my father, this anger towards my father, this anger towards my father,…
  • This war memory, this war memory, this war memory,…

You may use reminder phrase while you are tapping on spots instead of using the whole affirmation all the time. However, use the whole affirmation once in a while to let your self-acceptance and forgiveness heal you as well.

Readjusting Affirmations

Sometimes the problem vanishes in a few rounds of tapping, while some problems are partially relieved.

Tending to be very literal, the subconscious mind may require an adjustment of the Affirmation Phrase. This usually occurs in the subsequent rounds using the EFT technique.

Here is the adjusted format for the affirmations above by using the words "still", "some", and "left":

  • Even though I still have some of this headache left, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
  • Even though I still have some anger towards my father, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
  • Even though I still have some craving for alcohol, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.

The Reminder Phrases are also easily adjusted:

  • This remaining anger, this remaining anger,...
